Launch your net deeper

Luke 5:1 - 7
Have you ever feel that things doesn't move in the way you want it to happen?
Like you feel that you going to be promoted but yet others who seen didn't perform as good as you been promoted. You like someone but yet he or she just want to be friend with you only? You buy a share and it suddenly doesn't do well? You invite a friend to church service but yet he suddenly got so many appointment. It seen like everything you do just not right. It doesn't give you the result you want? You feel frustrated, you feel hopeless, you feel tired. Wasn't Simon feel that way also? After whole night hard work but he catch no fish! How frustrated he will be?

But Hey, God is just beside you and watching you. Have you wonder why Jesus preaching near Simon that day? Is that because they are more people in sea shore than in the city? No! But Jesus there to give Simon a solution! God is always beside us. He want to help us in every situation. But do you really want Him help you today? Or you prefer to said, "haiz, this is so difficult, I just can't do that." Well, you are just simply saying "even I can't do it. And how can God do it?" Wasn't our God bigger than our problem today?

Let look at Simon reaction. Verse 3. Jesus step in to Simon's boat and ask Simon push it out into water. Hey what did Simon doing now? He is washing the net. And what is his reaction? He can choose not to entertain Jesus. He is the owner of the ship, he can chase Jesus out of his ship. But did he do that? No, he follow what Jesus said. God may ask you to do something you had done before, which you didn't see any result from it. But when God said to you, will you follow today? Are you like Simon, "but if you say so, I'll let the nets down again."? or you just simply live in your own way? Be like Simon today, listen and obey God.

Jesus said "go out where it is deeper", if you didn't experience breakthrough then change another place, another target. It is just simply not the right place, right person, right time now. So change!!! You don't give a person who feel warm enough more clothing, and let the one who don't have enough clothing to warm himself die right? When you feel your career is stagnant, the gal seen doesn't interest to have a relationship with you, the friends you invite for service doesn't see interest to join you, maybe it is a time for your to change. Don't give up, but change the place, change the target. And when you obey what God had said, then your breakthrough is coming. Just like what Simon experienced, blessing of heaven will fall on you until you not able to receive it.

God never too far away from us. He want to speak to us, He want to help us. So just be like Simon, have a willing heart. As He is not looking for someone with great talent, but He is looking for someone who is willing. Willing to obey and willing to ran His race.
